During the Golden Age of right-wing podcast grifting, Nana completely shit the bed, and wasted who knows how much money on a venture he was too drunk and too lazy to put any effort into. He proved once again how he's a born second-banana, a sidekick at best. He started his "network", then sat there tittering and hooting like a retard, with that dumb confused look on his greasy dago face. Meanwhile, he paid the freight for a whole slew of talentless fags for no real reason at all, like the retard he is. And the end result is nothing. It was all a huge, gay, waste of time.

They could have seen this coming with how he treated the Opster. Knew the guy for 20 years and resented him on a personal level for 15. We get it, “Opies not funny” or “He’s hard to work with” but none of that justifies the level Anthony brought it to. Fucking with his family and punching pillows of his face while the show was on air, and then after making T shirts of him, doing two 2 hour long broadcasts shitting on him, and sending his fans after his wife. The fans ignored it because of how “Opie dropped Anthony”.
He didn’t. Anyone with behind the scenes knowledge (or the hindsight we have now) could see Opie “not sticking up for Ant” from a mile away. Would you defend a guy who fucking hated you, believed he could do this on his own, and wouldn’t defend you in the same way?

Once again I will go back to Opie, the prime example where everyone should have seen Ant for who he was. He gets fired for his own actions and is miffed that they tell him through an email. Erock is a tubby nothing but i’ll give him credit for rightfully being panicked and telling Ant his racist streams interfered with the business. Of course, Ant just treated it like a joke, like everything else. “You got lost” was told to him twice by a guy he massively respects and he just treated it like a joke, then took it as a personal affront. He is a person incapable of hearing advice because to him it’s either a huge joke or a scathing personal critique. One means nothing gets done and the other means someone is going to have their face out on a pillow to be punched.
Fuck we can go back. Burr sitting him down should have been a wake up call. Rather than people ghosting him he had someone sit him down and tell him exactly what was wrong. But nope, it was interpreted as a scathing personal critique and written off as a joke. Now to be fair I don’t think Ant could have repaired these relationships, but doubling down certainly isn’t the answer.
His plan is to always double down because, as you said, him and Joe almost need to be dickheads to live. The only thing I can equate it to is a teenager who loves telling offensive jokes and getting people mad. The more mad you get the more he does it, and the farther he goes. Theres also some weird idea, no doubt from his fathers influence, that being an unrepenting dickhead means you’re a “man”. The true sign of how irrelevant Compound Media is was when Artie made national news headlines with his arrest and collapsed nose.
