I hear car salesman in the Tampa area still talk about Rick Tomlinson and his two month reign of glory.

Got hired, trained, met famous baseball players and sneered at how stupid they are, endured a several-month long recall in which the cars couldn't be sold, and finally managed to sell one of them for the highest price any salesman could have gotten.

He rode off into the sunset calling his bosses stupid and they'd never sell another car at that price without him. He was right.
