Simple mods? It requires removing the transmission Pat. Which you have absolutely never done in that muddy bullshit excuse for a driveway or behind the half hovel. You paid a real man to do it at a shop. He is always just regurgitating what others say then adding his cunty superiority flair. And that insulation is for engine fire suppression to some extent and weighs less than your lunch tubbs. Mustang hoods were already light and made from aluminum. Fat faced asshole.

God he's such a fat know-it-all retard.

Replacing the driveshaft and flywheel does not "add horsepower" or "reduce stress on the engine". He definitely read that somewhere and is repeating it with no idea.

Replacing the hood with carbon fibre on a Mustang is a waste of money. Same with going through the effort of relocating the battery. Removing the hood sound insulation is utterly retarded.

Buy better tires. That's 90% of everything people should do to modify their cars.

I'm not a gearhead like Rick, but wouldn't you get more bang for your buck by bolting on a supercharger and doing things like upgrading the exhaust, air intake, headers, etc? I knew some guys who were doing shit like replacing parts with aluminum/carbon fiber but that was after they modified the engine/trans/exhaust.

And for fucks sake, who the fuck thinks moving a 20-40lb battery is going to improve handling and grip? He was a fucking idiot way back then now he's a fat fucking idiot. Nothing has changed except his weight.

Thanks Kiwi. Ive talked a little shit about you guys but this was a solid fucking find. Excellent addition. I finally feel like the true and honest dimensional merge is OnA and Kiwi taking down the SFWA Pedo Ring and sinking Fat into a cardboard box.

Moving the battery does more than you think. I moved one in an MR2 and it made a big difference

That's also a tiny car, and as such, I'd imagine you're not morbidly obese and it probably made a difference. Doing that in P@t's V8 muscle car is useless because he's the main issue with the weight reduction and balancing.

There was a trend back in the day to use lighter weight parts, pulleys etc. to decrease driveline drag but now tuning has become a large industry this stuff isn't very prominent anymore. You can get very noticable power gains from programming. Even then the hassle and cost of installing a lightweight flywheel on a basic street car was asinine. If you were tracking your car and went all out lightweight throughout sure but as a way to increase performance on a street car was ridiculous. Just flip your air cleaner lid so you can get the whooshing sound and SOTP power gain, child.
