I know there's an Artie Lange joke that's almost the same but one time I walked from Preston to Waterloo cuz busses don't run at night and I was super high. The sun came up as I got to my destination. It was actually kind of beautiful.

i walked home like this once around 9am coming down from acid and being awake for a few days from doing meth. i realized i couldn't drive when the distances were all fucked so i pulled over to walk it

it took about an hour to get there but it was groovy. that's how it felt anyway. it was probably actually pathetic

Preston and Waterloo are about a 5 hour walk apart.

You have to walk through all of Kitchener which is kind of funny in hind sight. They have a massive bus station. I could have just sat down for 3 hours and waited. I had a bus pass. Gotten to my destination at the same time.

It's covered in forests. Shit burns sometimes. The main problem is that they've abandoned the concept of forestry management - you've got to go in and clear the dead shit or its just kindling piling up. Then they put our every little fire instead of doing controlled burns to keep things manageable.

Eventually we have a dry summer and it goes up like a tinder box and they blame climate change. It's not their utter incompetence and refusal to fulfill their duties. It's muh climate.
