My favorite Pat waste of time TV appearance was this moment in NASA's Unexplained Files where Pat talks about how Liquid Metal aliens would freeze to death on earth and every other guest, including the narrator, immediately point out that they would have the technology to solve that problem if they could make it to earth.
Taking L's is all he knows how to do.People with STEM degrees vs someone who flunked high school science classes. Pat with the L yet again.
Hilarious that that was an editorial choice. "Let's show the smug fat guy saying something dumb and then clip a couple of actual scientists explaining why he's wrong."Taking L's is all he knows how to do.

Pat probably loved the "twist" in Signs."They would all freeze to death!!!". LMAO what a moron. Yes these alien beings that have all this technology to traverse the universe would just simply step outside into a random atmosphere without knowing anything about it.
My wife, who loves any sort of horror type of premise, won't even re-watch that movie because she was so disgusted by the ending as a teenager.Pat probably loved the "twist" in Signs.
Quite right too. I can't think of a lazier, dumber deus ex machina example. My wife, who loves any sort of horror type of premise, won't even re-watch that movie because she was so disgusted by the ending as a teenager.
It was honestly a bit of a conflict for me at one point with Joaquin and The Melster and there are so many people I know in this business who love it but yeah. Abysmal. "oh, the aliens came to a planet full of water but water kills them... Oh and the little girl always fills glasses of water for no reason but now it's useful! Must be an act of god!"Quite right too. I can't think of a lazier, dumber deus ex machina example.
