I've learned that if KF thinks Pat has a win, he's fucked. That one law Youtuber was scrolling through the case on a stream saying "yep, this guy's getting a settlement" and then boom, a trial.
My opinion is that even the stuff they did (searching after Niki came out) isn't that bad and at most would warrant an internal review. That might be the funniest outcome, Pat wins but doesn't get any money.

A lot of this case comes down to the opinion that cops should “know better” and they should be able to tell a fake call from a real one yet that’s very Monday morning quarterback type of response from someone that isn’t in law enforcement. They know it could be bogus but they have to at least respond to make sure - it’s that whole issue of “they didn’t respond because they thought it was bullshit and something actually did happen this time so the police fucked up” so either way they have to investigate even if they suspect it’s fake. It’s why it’s a crime to fuck with 911 - they have to take everything as real.
Especially related to cases of domestic violence - there’s been plenty of cases of the woman yelling through the door to the cops knocking “everything’s fine - no problem here!” with a black eye and a busted lip.

I definitely think MPD is trying to show just how unhinged Pat acts every single time to set up that they have to do this because he could be a real threat. We don't even know what's on the bodycams, it could be way worse.
Niki should have just used AI to write the filing. Everything has been professional and suddenly Pat's doing his creative writing again.
Especially since Pat has been an unhinged lunatic every time they came and were very professional and calm while dealing a squealing pig (who was probably buzzed / drunk a majority of their interactions) which I’m sure the body cams show. Niki stood by in silence as she recorded Pat trying to get into a physical altercation with the police and they still handled it professionally even though it was clear he was trying to provoke a response that Niki could get on camera to help their case of suing the city.
The MPD know what these assholes are trying to do and it’s not gonna work. Just the way Pat has acted like a screaming woman while the police are just doing their jobs is enough concern to actually check if something happened. Pat is a big fat red flag.
