I'd actually recommend reading the Statement of Fact one (it's the 177 kb document that's 19 pages long). It has a few hilarious points but noting that it is a statement of the facts that both parties agreed upon, that Evans officer might actually be fucked. He was told repeatedly that the calls were likely SWATing calls but kept going after Pat. Of course, it doesn't help that Pat was extremely antagonistic the entire time, but still. Interesting reading. The rest of the officers save maybe Petersen seem like they didn't do anything wrong.

The extent of the “damages” they are looking to get money for are - a cop said he would kick their door down if they didn’t do as he asked which was his job. He didn’t kick the door down and the door has no damage yet Pat is a overdramatic bitch and wants a pay day over a non-broken door. “They almost kicked our door in!” Is a very weak claim when said door has no damage.

To me the what really sticks at as weird is including that Pat said he would sue a cop “into poverty” while he was being a belligerent asshole refusing to do what the police asked as part of their job. As many have pointed out with DV cases you have examples of the cops showing up for one reason or another over a couple having a large fight (neighbor called, the woman called etc) and when the police show up to check it out the woman will refuse to come to the door to yell “everything’s fine!” While having a black eye and busted lip because she’s worried what her wife beating husband will do to her if the cops find out what’s really going on. They have to check on everyone in these calls because if they don’t then they can get sued for not doing their job.

KF thinks Pat has a W here but I’m not seeing it, especially since the extent of their trauma is “one said he would kick our door!”

I hope they have a pretty good idea he’s the one doing it and are trying to drag this out until they get enough information / evidence to charge Pat with swatting himself. He made multiple claims he was going to sue them (for a million dollars while he drunkenly swung at them and enough to put on cop into poverty another time etc) so they know something is fishy and I don’t mean Niki.

It sucks we can’t see all the discovery stuff - I bet he made more claims he was going to sue them, get them fired, have their badges, etc and being a belligerent asshole. Pat has proven time and time again now matter what the situation he will be a giant asshole that doesn’t deserve any sympathy.

My memory of the timeline is a little fuzzy. Did TorSwats claim Rick was using his services on his own address to sue the city before or after the video of him swinging on the cop and threatening a lawsuit came out? I remember it being before, but I'm not confident.
