Flagged.

"We know you drive a white Chevy Colorado (2004-12). We have all of this on surveillance camera. We don't want to involve the police if it can be avoided but we will if necessary."

What a piece of shit.
Also when he said "you have unknowingly committed a crime" as a scare tactic. They haven't committed a crime. They responded to a Craigslist ad. The person putting up the ad committed a crime, but the person picking the furniture up didn't do anything wrong.

Yes child, they did. They have t-minus 24 hours to return my stolen patio furniture or the MPD - who I'm actively suing, screamed at on my front porch and regularly criticize on social media and TV news channels, will be very eager and willing to track them down.

Hush now.

So if I want to steal my neighbor’s lawn mower I can just post an ad for a free lawnmower on Craig’s list first and they can’t arrest me for possession of stolen property? Why haven’t more thieves thought of this. I’m thinking of picking up some free gold from my local pawn shop.

the pee from the beer bought with money from the sale of the metal scrapped from the chairs is already in Lake Michigan

I think there's an old nursery rhyme song we used to sing in pre school that went something like that.

Down by the lake
Where the pee from drinking goes
Bring back his chairs?
The answer's no.
For if I do
Fat Rick will say,
I am a pig, my wife fucks nigs
Down byyyyy the lake.

This sounds like more of a dangerous scam to respond to than the original. I wouldn't reply to this or go anywhere near it if I had his shit. Aggression, schizo stlaker talk and threats. If he knew who I was or had my information he'd have said so and this seems like he's gonna beat me or rob me.
He's still responding to Craigslist emails as of 10 minutes ago even though the ad is flagged.

He's such a demented queer that he thinks repeatedly spamming that ad day after day on craigslist is actually going to get him his furniture back. Even if the guy didn't already scrap it, he has absolutely zero incentive to bring it back at this point. Rick has no understanding of human behavior at all. Probably why the characters in his books all read like they were written by AI.

He'd be better off calling the scrap dealers in his area and asking if they remember seeing it. I worked at a scrap place for a while and there's a chance it sat there for a day or two before somebody threw it into a bin. It was in decent enough condition that one of the workers or the boss might have set it aside to try to resell it as is or whatever.

You aren't in possession of stolen property until you knowingly posses it. Until then you lack the mens rea to have broken the law. The person who took the chairs acted in good faith if they haven't seen his ad they've done nothing wrong. So if they see it and see his attitude I'd deny seeing it and go about my business since he's an asshole the burden of proof lies on him, not the guy who has the chairs. Pat is fucked in this case. He needs good will here not tough guy bull shit, but he can't muster any,
