In my opinion, Lynne is funding the lawsuit against the police but it’s a make or break - if he gets tossed they’re cut off or some other serious consequence will happen. They convinced her it was a slam dunk and how lawsuits against the police will bring in lots of money. Niki is listed first and her “Trama” are a major part of it - they think that will be a huge pay day.

If taking pictures of people on their front porches is illegal than TMZ should be brought down on RICO charges, as should every tour group that buses Chinks around Beverly Hills to snap photos of celebrity mansions.
Of all the worst things Rick accuses us of (swatting, bomb threats, vandalism, stealing his property, etc) he can't prove anyone from here is responsible and never will. Of all the minor things he accuses us of, most are trivial matters out of context and he's never going to convince anyone there's a conspiracy involved when we're discussing them in real time on a public website. He has no fucking clue how to pitch this to anyone in a position to do anything about it.
Never mind his lack of preparation or legal knowledge, he still hasn't figured out how to structure his narrative so it a) frames him as a real victim, or b) even makes sense.
