Because having six staff members was never necessary. You need a guy working the board/screening calls and a producer. The talent will do the rest. How do I know that? Because that's how all the successful shows on the air now are operating.

It looks ok but is not great, if I remember correctly there was quite a bit of a stink going on at one time with a delay on pressing a flipper key and it actually moving. For that sort of money you could build your own, with multiple tables, knockers, etc.

The closest show to OnA was Stern and he had a massive staff the same time OnA was on.

Could the show have gotten by with 2 competent producers? Of course. But good luck finding 2 competent people that will work for 35k in NYC and get to work at 5 AM. You need to have a large staff in that situation because you know anyone willing to do that job is gonna be a fuck up.

Plus if you only have 2 producers you will become too dependent on them and they can hold you up for more money. That's why they kept a gang of interchangeable retards.

If any of them had any real talent, XM would have shifted them off the show and moved them up the corporate ladder.
