Putin used to jail people for being Christian until he realized that they are all so easily brainwashed that he could control more people with religion than he could with spying. All of a sudden he’s an orthodox Christian and other Christians are so desperate for validation that they jumped on his bandwagon and defend him against their own country and best interests
