Follow-up: Do you have any idea why these types seem to be in scifi specifically? Or are they all across genres now and we just don't notice it because we're fixated on Patrick? Are horror writers mostly trannies and fat barren women as well now?

Sorry for the double post: It's not in sci-fi only, but it does lend itself toward weirdos. Everywhere there's a niche hobby these types have invaded. Comic books are bad (though you can argue that's sci-fi too) and board gaming has some assholes trying to ruin it too, though with board gaming there's a better split because it's such a family-oriented hobby.

But at the bigger levels you see Hollywood is a pedo cesspool and pop music is just a vehicle to churn out whores.

I try to cover and expose all the crap happening in all these spheres, which can get tough to keep people engaged cuz usually a group is hyper-focused on one and doesn't care about the other elements of culture at all. The fight needs to happen on all fronts though.

I guess I disagree. It’s better to point it out in one group at a time. Trying to keep everyone’s attention on all fronts is a lot harder than things they’re interested in. They’re more likely to notice the same bullshit in other things, and once you can save one community, you can move onto another.

The biggest problem is that they think these are character defining traits. Mostly because many of these people are autistic and have no understanding of social awareness. So they find something that can be easily claimed, and use it as a personality trait. Even look at Chris Chan. At his core, he’s still the same retard who likes sonic and spergs out. In order to define himself more he “transitioned”. He’s still the same love quest retard but he acts like he’s a completely different person. Sonic changed to my little pony. That’s about it.
