I like the last few years because they're all so miserable together. Just vile hatred for everything, which I think is funny.
Their absolute hatred for each other, and themselves, and all of the constant infighting and dysfunction is one of the best parts of the show. Stern as well. Artie's fights with various Stern staffers are some of the most legendary parts of the entire Stern Show.

If you are an Anthony fan your answer should be WAAF or WNEW. On satellite radio Auntie was lazy and barely ever did any voices or bits outside of blurting out catchphrases robotically. Which was funny for its part. But compared to what he did on FM actually doing material with the voice, it was nothing radio.

If you like Opie at all he became better the older the show got, he cared way less about holding things together and would craft things to amuse his own sick sense of humor. See that's what we do now.

People talk about that era because the show was running on fumes, but it did bring us the Supershows. That's some of the best content the show ever produced.
Her internship is also one of the greatest moments on the show as well. Them blowing off a Game of Thrones interview to have Lady Di interrupt and act like a maniac will never not be funny. And her shitting and puking all over the bathroom in front of America Ferrara the actress who called security on her to report a "homeless person who wandered into the building" is hysterical every time.

WWAW Patrice explaining how "bad" his bitch was when she looked like this?

On Bobby and Colin's podcast, their guest Patrick Milligan (the owner of the site Cringe Humor. Think he works for or co-owns the Stand now.) tells a story where Patrice is working some benefit and he tells some woman "beat it, Larry Fine wig." The woman says to the promoter or somebody "Was Patrice talking to me?" "Yes ma'am." "Well tell him this really is a wig and I have cancer." Guess he knew what it looked like up close and personal.

XM had some of the greatest moments on the show. Jocktober was mostly on XM and Sirius. It was really Anthony and Norton sabotaging the show behind the scenes like faggots that killed it. Combined with social media and politics causing Anthony to completely lose his mind. But even that could be blamed more on him and Norton sucking each other's cocks like two fruits behind the backs of everyone.

Anthony's confidence on air to destroy the momentum of the show every day came from Norton telling him off air to just "do whatever you want and fuck Opie if he says not to". So you'd get hours every week of how gun rights and being responsible, unlike niggers, is important for society (you know before Anthony beat his girlfriend out of shame for finding his anal eggs and had his guns taken away of course). And how these savages were ruining America and so on. While Anthony is busy looking at creep shots and buying underage girls an Ipad that he met online.

And Norton was the same. Telling Opie that they needed more porn whores and wrestlers. And more UFC fighters to choke Norton on air to act out his bizarre fantasies of people assaulting then rescuing him. And whenever Opie would turn him down he would have Anthony to back him up and say "yes" to getting more awful porn pigs and boxers and whatever on the show.
anthony and jim are lazy zilches suckling on opies ship like a barnacle. Why would they want to sabotage their million dollar paycheck?

Great XM/SiriusXM bits:

Homeless Charlie, Jocktober, 1993 Lists, the Fugitive, Bobo and Christina, Lady Di’s internship and crack smoking reveal, O&A break down their press photo, any Danny incident (Guitar Hero, Master Po, etc.), RAAAMMONNNEEEE!!!, Tequila and Donuts Day with the intro to Denny, Cakestomp, The Walkover, I could go on.

I think in terms of full shows and listening to it live Satellite would probably be the worst era. Early XM was filled with technical issues and them getting back into the groove. And past 2010 is when they mostly started phoning it in with good bits here and there. But in terms of clips you could pull out and show to people it was definitely the best time for them.

Ant was convinced he could make it on his own (LFTC) but I’m sure the worm never really considered leaving Sirius.
Ant was never convinced he could make it on his own. LFTC was his safe space where he thought he could say nigger and rant with impunity but quickly learned that was an issue with management. He would never willingly jeopardize his million dollar gig if he didn't think he was safe.

He willingly jeopardized his gig every day when he wouldn’t stop ranting about niggers on the show and on twitter. He has zero impulse control, you’re being very charitable. He absolutely thought he could do something without Opie.
