I wish Pat was smart enough to turn the delusional fever dreams he posts on Twitter about Trump and politics into a Tom Clancy meets Handmaiden's Tale political thriller, he'd make a fortune, it's too bad he's an abrasive simpleton with attachment issues who's desperate for approval.
Maybe I'll do it instead just to prove a point.

Hotel beds unmade? Is this a covert advertisement for his Airbnb that he cleans with his engorged tongue? Is French maid Pat empathizing with the illegal immigrant cleaning staff? We report, you decide.

It would be nice if this was a wake up call to liberal journalists who thought all these people were on your side and you were all on Team Good Guy Who Care About Facts. Turns out, the people you thought you were leading will hate you more than any MAGAtard if you step out of line. Kind of like the wake up call pro-Israel Jewish Americans got.

It won't. A lot of journalists will be happy if the Post and LA Times suffer because of this.
Anyone who loves war as much as you is a bad person and you're going to be punished when you die. Doesn't matter how many smug little "above it all" points you gained on Twitter.

Because it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how things work and I hate stupid people
Newspapers have been endorsing candidates for decades. Usually through their editorial boards.
I've never really given a shit about stuff like this, I just assumed that being seen as unbiased would be important for someone peddling news.
