Really, Fatrick is a one-subject proof of the Standford Prison Experiment findings; if you dangle power in front of a schmuck, they will trip over themselves trying to grab it. It is so much easier to try to destroy anyone who reminds you of your flaws than it is to address them inside yourself, as revenge offers more instant-gratification than self development, just like beer and meatloaf offer a quicker fix than going to the gym.

It's laughable to use just completing a half to cement yourself as a bona fide tough guy, and he likely didn't even do that much.
I run regularly--though not seriously if that makes sense--and I'm at best above average, yet I can still run circles around his old man shuffle, and I'm older than him.
