Were those protestors on student visas or citizens? Citizens have the right to free speech so of course they shouldn’t be arrested for what they say or peacefully protest.

These aren’t citizens, they came here on student visas. I’m fine with people coming here to study but don’t show up and start demanding people take action because you think you hold the moral high ground and everybody who disagrees is evil. You’re not entitled to come here, our federal government granted you the privilege and can revoke it for any reason apparently.

Do I support it? I’m not in love with it. At the same time, these are the exact same type of people who spent years trying to get others fired because they got offended so yeah, I don’t mind seeing them finally get in trouble for something they said in the past.

It definitely will and I don’t know. Something not good I'm sure, but the precedent has been set for a while now in my mind. The left thought they were invincible, calling everybody Hitler and talking about threats to democracy for 9 straight years as the homeless destroyed their cities and states and President Biden walked into walls. That was going to continue no matter what.

In the end, regular people got tired of it and brought back Trump and now students are being deported on their way to dinner for blog posts against Israel, probably due in part to cities making it hard to deport actual criminals.

So we’ll just see what happens I guess

It’s in all the government paperwork for immigration. It’s a yes/no. Something like do you support terrorist organizations. Say yes and you dont get in. Say no and then do it and they kick you out. It’s not something new, it was on my L1 paperwork 20 years ago. Like everything else we don’t know how much it was enforced in the past but we care now because of this person.
