Norton has some of the greatest moments on the show. And his highlights would come out of nowhere. Like the Jeter photograph or him chasing the stolen bus. You never knew what might happen. But if you listen to full shows from start to finish you will see that Norton basically was unfunny and hack level most of the time. Same "puddle of AIDS" or "prep the bull" jokes nonstop.

Norton definitely had his moments as a supporting character, but The DMAN agrees with this assessment wholeheartedly. Norton was terrible hack shit from his debut on O&A until a few years into XM. In fact, he wasn't really all that funny until the late 2000's, early 2010s when he would have a few solid moments. Which of course would be spoiled by his constant fetish kink bullshit. Going back to the well over and over. Other than that, it was just him spitballing other people's ideas and cadences.
