Just to correct the record, I did know the restraining order hearing was happening even though I never was served thanks to a thread from a guy at the jerk store and lucked out on pat being as retarded and lazy as I was. The result probably would have been the same, but it would have been pretty goddamn embarrassing if pat had shown up prepared and I was just mumbling my best sheepish explanations of the situation and hoping for the best.
Why did he say you were black?

BDAs entire attitude helped him with that case. He was calm, friendly, admitted his mistake instantly, admitted how dumb the whole thing is and was just a down to earth human. Rick came across as a robotic dickhead who also lied about not sending a threatening text and it happened from the get go. Judges notice these things and once you start lying all you do is hurt your own case. Rick is his own worst (fat) enemy. This case against Milwaukee will again fail because of his inability to tell the truth and it’s going to feed us for another year.
Then pat storms out saying he was going to appeal but ends up going home to get drunk and never files an appeal.

Either because Patrick S. Tomlinson hoped to use the justice system's racism to railroad a white guy, or he chose my race by alphabet because he is functionally illiterate and couldn't properly fill out the form. Warped bigot, or fat retard? I report, you decide.
Its always those black guys with polish last names.

Lol he is the worst.

Ill never forget how security realized pat was the crazy one and escorted you out instead.

Did pat look at you when he lost or did he show shame and embarassment?

Luckily being retarded isn't a crime, we've all been there before. The only one in that hearing who broke the law was Pat, who LIED under oath. We all wish the attorney who was presiding over the hearing would've lit him up for that, my guess is Pat didn't appeal the decision because, if my understanding is correct, the appeal hearing would've been in front of an actual judge, and Pat had just perjured himself...

I relisten to the BDA tapes about every month because theres so much gems. The constant “What the fuck is happening?” attitude from the judge, BDA giving perfect answers and rebuttals despite only finding out about the suit an hour before and not even consulting / having a lawyer, Rick believing he could just testify to what people told him as a “trust me bro”, Ricks general cunty attitude and turning over to mock BDA (then being told to stop).

Arguably my favorite part of it though is hearing Ricks case and general demeanor deflate through the hearing. He starts extremely confidently but the minute BDA starts explaining his case is when everything starts faltering. No quips or preprepared lines and he starts freaking out that the judge is taking a stlaker at his word. “I did not threaten you. That is simply false. I did not threaten you…….I do not remember sending that text. SIR. I did NOT inviTE to fighT him. That SIMPLY did noT occur.” There are genuinely points near the end where it sounds like he’s going to burst into tears out of pure frustration.

Points also go to BDA for trying to explain to the judge why Patrick is a “bizarre internet personality”. The minute BDA mentioned his baby childing of people, his insistence on getting the last word in, etc, the judge knew no matter how dumb BDA’s actions were what he was saying about Pat was all true. I mean Pat proved it himself in the fucking court room. “I did not send you that text.” Yes you di- “NO I DID NOT.” Even arguing with the fucking judge at one point…

In terms of legal cases, it was arguably the closest slam dunk Patrick had. And he still fucked it up. Even if Patrick didn’t get the restraining order fulfilled, BDA would have gotten a hard shalacking from the judge. Instead Pat acted like such a cunt the judge seemed more focused on reprimanding Pat than BDA.
Pat has this thing where he over prepares the story he wants to tell and does nothing to prepare for anything else.

It’s like he doesn’t even understand that other people have the autonomy to come up with questions.

The deflation was so beautiful, that judge ruled.

"Mr. Tomlinson you filed a lawsuit against these people recently, and it was dismissed?. Voluntarily??"

"hrmm......yeessssssssss, sir...."

“That SIMPLY did noT occur.”
This, along with, “I thought you’d hear what I have to say”, really shows Ricks flawed perception of the legal system. A judge is not an independent arbitrator who, based on the evidence, decides what he thinks most likely happened and what he thinks should be the likely recourse. He’s just…there to support Patrick I guess? I genuinely don’t get his mentality. Because by the “Hear me out” comment you’d think Rick believes the Judge should ONLY take him at his word. But him straight up telling the judge “thats not what occurred” leads you to believe Rick thinks HE is the arbitrator in this situation.

Hey , you fat dummy, if you wanted to PROVE that “didnT occur” you should have brought more evidence that would refute that. You can’t just SAY it.

I think it was more about the fact that the case was open and shut and you can see it in the judges reasoning: “This seemed like a bizarre internet beef that resulted in you two agreeing to fight. You’re both at fault. But i’m warning you if you contact Patrick again there WILL be grounds for the order.”

BDA never contacted Pat after that so there was no grounds. It would be the exact same result but possibly even worse. “So you’re telling me you JUST tried getting a restraining order against this guy, a judge already ruled it’s not necessary, and Mr. Nadolski hasn’t contacted you since?”

It’s crazy that they allow that to be used as evidence in court since it would be so easy to fake it. Having it printed out seems even worse.
its not that wasn't court and it wasn't a judge. This wasn't a real hearing it was essentially just procedural. This was for the tro not even the actual restraining order. Tros are normally just rubber stamped. So showing your phone is better than literally nothing. It was rick's belligerence, negative charisma, obvious lies and likely terrible odor that even made this an issue.

An appeal hearing could have happened the same day, just rehashing the same story (potentially) in front of an actual judge... who also could've punished Pat for lying under oath, hence potentially why Pat opted to let sleeping dogs lie for once.
