Basic white women really like it so now it's "uncool" to like the US office. The character development was really really strong for a comedy, but the show really went down when Carrell left.

I also tend to notice a lot of people who've never had an "office" job (like Pat) tend to hate it as well. The whole "work family" thing where you have to put up with these people because you work for the same company is some shit they can't relate to. Everyone can point to their coworkers and go "you're the Angela, you're the Toby, you're the Kelly" because everyone thinks their either the Jim or the Pam.

When I was a kid, I was in the background of a picture of a beach that got used in the phone book for my area. I was like "oh cool, that's me!" And then the next year they cropped the picture so I was the focus of it and it bugged the shit out of me for some reason. I was just making sand castles for my wrestlers to do aerial moves off of, I didn't know there was some phonebook pedo taking Weimer-shots of me.
