I've never understood the proliferation of trendy brunch restaurants. Why would anyone wait to sit down (sometimes for more than an hour) and then pay a 100% mark-up for fucking breakfast food? The thing about breakfast/brunch is that it's almost all the same - truly "excellent" breakfast food doesn't exist. "We put creme fraiche in our eggs and our waffle batter has a hint of cayenne!" It's invariably a stupid gimmick targeted at simpleton consumers who are obsessed with social media like Pat. You can get essentially the same thing at a Denny's or any diner in the country, and have a much better time. Fuck these assholes. I hope every one of these restaurants goes the way of Hooligans and has to put up with a fat faggot acting like an entitled "regular" everyday before burning down.
