I don't know what's going on here, but can we agree it's funny Opie and Anthony gave a half hour of their show to Sam Roberts out of laziness and then they both got fired and he took over the show?

Howard went from working five days a week on KROCK and promising a 'new revolution in radio' for Sirius when he got there. Where there would be literally "hundreds" of new shows produced for Howard 100 and Howard 101. A giant news team of reporters to have 24/7 coverage of Stern related events. The full archive of his shows constantly playing the most classic bits and segments in history. And possibly the addition of a third Howard 102 channel because he would have too much content just for two channels alone.
Within day one of working at Sirius he's already down to four days a week with more vacation weeks as well compared to WXRK. On top of that his new shows and jocks are almost all abysmal and awful and impossible to listen to for more than a one minute novelty act. People like Riley are paid pennies and jump ship. Ferrel and Bubba barely last though they were terrible. The news team is utterly wiped out during the first contract and become neutered and are not allowed to report anything negative.
But by the time O&A were ripping on Howard it was boring for them. Because Stern fans were turning on Howard in record numbers. With Stern losing massive amounts of his audience every single year. And then Stern losing his entire team within ten years of working with Sirius. Mel Karmazin gone and no longer friends with Howard after the lawsuits against Sirius. Artie gone forever. Entire Howard TV staff fired and they all now hate Howard. DePace and Scott the Engineer hate Howard. Marci Turk destroys the show further. Howard fags it up at lethal douche chill levels on America's Got Talent losing his entire remaining core audience from the 90s.
Now? Howard 100 and 101 don't even have programming anymore. Stern works three days a week and takes 30 weeks off per year. He literally cannot hit enough listeners to justify mid tier commercial buys from advertisers.
The point I am making is that Stern fans ripped on Howard infinitely more than O&A did since 2005 and especially since 2010. O&A knew that ignoring Stern was better in the long run because Stern was busy destroying his own legacy. Probably same reason Rogan almost never mentions Howard and just puts him on the 'pay no mind' list.

Yeah, it's funny as fuck. Especially because of how they were fired. Ant was fired after having a racist meltdown on twitter after getting beat up by a black woman and Opie was fired for filming Roland taking a shit. Then Sam just took over the show with Jim as co host.
