I don’t think the show lasts another contract to be honest witcha. Without even listening I know Jim and Sam are drifting apart. They’re different people who only joined under circumstance: Opie was leaving and Jim needed a cohost Jim knew Sam from O&A and joked around with him pretty fine. They’re been on-air for 5+ years now and Sam isn’t the kid from O&A anymore. But obviously Norton would tolerate working with someone he doesn’t like for the $$$

So the way Jim and Sam will end is SXM will lowball Jim because the company sucks and he sucks and Jim will walk rather than take it. They’ll offer Sam his own gig and he’ll do a show with Travis or someone. Jim will do a show with Nikki as he is now.

It wasn’t just excitement over Opie losing his gig. There were actual faggots who convinced themselves J&S was gonna be a return to O&A. I remember people excited that they brought the car crash back and how it was a sign that things were going back. The only reason people got so mad at the slew of porn stars and UFC / WWE fighters was because they wanted Vos or Colin, as if they could save that show anyway.
