They'll keep it forever I think. Sam would work pretty cheap, he works hard, is passable as a host and has outside appeal to O&A fans and WWE fans. Even though Norton is old and washed up Sirius would still view him as a celebrity/comedy/radio legend, he probably works much cheaper than he did back in the O&A days and just like Sam he has those outside appeals also.

Norton will eventually retire or not want to do the show anymore and shit will change but don't see it happening until then.

Opie and Jim had zero chemistry together without Ant, Jim in particular really needs to be around other funny people to be funny himself. Sam meanwhile was known for being behind some of the classic bits, like Jocktober or tard-wrangling Di/Bobo/David whenever they came into the studio.

I know I personally felt it would be a step in a better direction, getting back to the silliness and removing the negative energy from the studio. But Sam instead decided the show was going to be safe, easy listening schlock and Jim's a beta who just went along with whatever. The whole we're not gonna do Jocktober, that's O&A's thing, we're gonna come up with J&S bits! attitude reminded me of The Todd Show and most O&A fans lost interest almost immediately.

What really ruined it is that Sam is a pop culture nerd who wants to talk wrestling, movies, television, etc while Jim is a miserable shut-in who refuses to watch anything and only offers "everything sucks but Ozzy" opinions.
