This is the right answer. He crossed a line a long time ago. The lolsuit was the last of a series of escalations that made sure there will always be somebody out there ready to fuck with him and never let him forget it. He had been ramping up since the fake DMCAs with fake evidence, hoaxes, frauds and trying to abuse the legal system and lie to the media. He still does.

He probably could've even stopped and apologized in the months after the sub melted down and left it alone and ended up in Joe territory. Now he's collected so many new little groups and lolcow watchers, we could all die of asshole cancer and it would still likely continue.
