Maybe it was just being a kid but concerts fucking stink now. Might as well just go to a movie theatre, sit your ass down and watch a tape of them playing.

I remember downloading live shows from the 90's even early 00's and there would be shit flying through the air, crowds of people jumping, going apeshit, general buffoonery and a loud crazy environment. Cloud of smoke above the crowd. Even if it was some gay band it atleast looked like a fun wild place to be.

These pictures look alot like my recent experiences. Just lame, a bunch of boring fatasses just filming the giant video board on their phone so they can share it with their faggot social media circle. I end up just hoping the show is over soon or leaving early if I can. Looks totally worth the $150 to see the over rated Foo Fighters make their 23rd fucking tour of the last 2 years.

Overall I’m glad smoking is banned everywhere. But it used to be nuts, there would be a literal cloud of smog up by the ceiling at the Metro in Chicago.

I’ll confess I saw FF’s on their first ever tour with a couple hundred people. It was a deafening, violent show that even teenage me got bored of half way through and after starting in the front near the stage I ended up hanging out near the back with a chick who looked like an actually cute Courtney Love. Every song sounded identical live back then. One of the worst concerts I’ve ever been to and I don’t say that just because of Pat.
