I used to have an insurance license myself as part of financial advising job and he obviously would have zero reason to be in contact with patients or doctors or really to even know much of anything about the business. It’s just straight sales like any other sales job. And he “runs an agency” the same way stupid housewives “own their own business” in those multi-level marketing schemes.

oh and also the agents get a very small residual percentage on renewals for health insurance policies so he’s not making a lot of money on that
