I've been listening to a LOT of Eric the Midget stuff lately, it's my go-to for when I need to sleep. Some of those compilations have been without Artie and post-Artie and they've still been pretty good because Eric was such a little cocksucker. It is hilarious hearing the way Howard would mock Eric whenever he'd ask to be called Eric the Actor, only to retcon the entire bit years later when it was no longer PC to call him Eric the Midget. Fred used to cobble together these clips of Eric calling himself Eric the Gay Jackass, Eric the Obnoxious Retard, etc. etc. And they'd play them incessantly at him. Very funny. But very gay of Stern to go back on all that and pretend it never happened.

When High Pitch Mike came out of the closet Stern casually said "Fuck dude, we'll start giving you all the gay porno we get in the mail. We used to just send it to Eric the Midget 'cause he'd get all pissed off." That small quip made me laugh so fuckin hard. Imagining Eric getting a package in the mail and having his mother open it for him, only to find that it's just stacks and stacks of gay porn DVD's. Idk if Howard actually did that or was just joking but I want to believe.

Eric could carry the segment by himself but it’s still funnier to hear Artie argue with him because he’s far more clever than the others. I hope Fred gets hit by a bus. I’m like half way through that one so I’ll get there eventually. I like when Jackie said that Fred never once asked for a raise and took whatever scraps he was offered with a smile. $30k a year was what Jackie was making on the E show, John got 15, and Stern wanted Billy to work for less than scale which he can’t because he’s in a union. Fred also seems to harbor a ton of resentment towards Jackie. “He stole the Jackie puppet and there’s no doubt in my mind.”

I wasn’t sure if you were talking about something else but Howard did find it by having someone look in the room. I like when they talk about how Howard refused to get involved with any contract negotiations on their behalves but “knew where every penny went.” Also Billy said he never had any desire to go back. I think he’s more upset than he led on. I liked the part where they discussed the confrontation with the Ren and Stimpy creator.
