Only Pat could turn his laziness into a boast - "I have an excellent memory". Kill yourself, you fat galoot.

I reread pages in political literature all the time. If you don’t have to reread a page, it’s not very substantial. I guess I don’t read fantasy because I’m not a faggot so I can’t comment so much on that. To take pride in something an elementary child does shows this pigs mental stagnation. Of course he gets his political insight from “Dune”. Absolute retard.

Of course he has an excellent memory, an elephant never forgets.
Hmmm. He has an excellent memory yet can’t remember if he stepped in a pothole during a race or stepped off a curb and twisted his ankle. Don’t you think anyone with even a “poor memory” would still be able to recall the difference? I do.

Still dont know how he could do either when the course started inside Miller Park, and ran up a driveway to the street, a driveway without a curb, and proceeded through the streets of Milwaukee. Again with a curb nowhere on the course. So unless he went off course to get something from Niki on the sidewalk (generally outright banned or discouraged for a runner to step off the plotted course) and then his weight slammed down when he stepped on the curb (who the fuck steps on the curb? You step over a curb, stupid) this injury seems like a fabrication to me, since pictures towards the end of the course (presumably after he cut down an alley and skirted a few miles) don’t show him either hobbling, limping or wincing in pain.

All that rereading of Dune didn't stop Pat from making the most facile, surface level interpretations of the text.

Frank Herbert is on record saying that Dune was mostly inspired by his research on the Oregon coastline, his experimentation with psychedelics, and his reading of "Sabres of Paradise", a book on Chechen Islamic resistance in Russia. The Crusades and "Arabia" don't figure into it, you fat clown.

Throw in some political drama, scifi tropes involving terraforming and resource scarcity, and a pinch of every world religion for "spice", and you have what's essentially "The Godfather Meets Star Wars" with a lot of extra shit floating on top. You could read a lot of things into it.

I love the Dune series as a story and I've read it many times (unlike Pat), but it's a relic of its time. The ideas expressed in them were fresh when people believed that LSD could unwrap the truth of reality and the environmental movement hadn't beaten everybody to death with it's message.
Now it's just some rare sedimentary fossil we can look at to intuit the past.

Frank Herbert said it best when someone asked him what he told all his Pat-like fans when they offloaded their fan theories onto him: "I just smile and nod and take their money."

TLDR: Both Pat and I are scifi-reading fags but he bottoms for me.

Technicality Pat is correct yet again childs, he doesn't read books full stop, only purchases them to put in his home library/fart chamber so he can take twitter photos for his many fans, you can't re read something if you haven't read it in the first place, little nothings.
I knew technicality Pat would rear his fat head. Excellent point, Brotherman. You deserve to get blown before the Jacuzzi. Patrick deserves to watch his wife standing around like a bitch in heat and get raped by a pack of…

Frank Herbert was obsessed with deserts and peyote. Dipshits like to read their own politics into Dune. So, as usual, Rick is injecting his own social beliefs into the work of someone who is fucking dead and pronouncing it as fact and not interpretation. In summary, he's fucking fat and I hope he gets painful cancer.
