Sissy Husband to the Sexy Latina: First Time Feminization Femdom Erotica is the latest Femdom fiction from M L Paige.
I want to come to this story from an oblique angle. Paige has a number of strains of stories. Two of these engage in raceplay. "Ebony Dommes, White slaves" uses raceplay to explore African American women as domms over white men. The Mistresses of Asian Femdom does the same thing with a variety of East Asian dommes over white men. The power of raceplay in stories like this and their appeal cannot be denied. The sociological implications of both are different, interesting and probably deserve a paper. The point is, Paige engages in a variety of kinks within each of these strains but the "container" is the raceplay because that is what drives the sales.
Paige has another strain, "Futas, Sissies and genderbending oh my" which does not rely on raceplay even if books and stories in the other two categories could be slotted into this one. These stories engage with what is on the tin, as it were.
But now this newest book "Sissy Husband to the Sexy Latina" comes, and my reaction is: Why isn't this raceplay? A look at amazon and smashwords suggests that Latina dommes are NOT as popular as Asian or African American ones. Paige has used sexy Latinas before--most recently and notably in the wide ranging Matriarch Manor. But as an individual category or a focus, they are uncommon, especially compared to their Asian and AA counterparts. And why THAT is is probably another sociology paper, maybe even a Masters or PHD Thesis.
Paige does a good job in correcting that in this story, which uses the fiery Latina trope as a strong undercard to the sissification and genderbending that this story fronts. Our hero, Max, has her Columbian wife, Sofia, find his stash of porn. And decides to make his dreams, as it were, to come true. Chastity, sissification, spanking all come along with the fiery Latina dominatrix. While parts of this are definitively not my kink, and the implied upcoming M/m in the epilogue is definitely not my cup of tea, the fiery Latina dominatrix who puts her husband in chastity is another matter entirely.
The story is well written to Paige's excellent standards. I could wish for Paige to write more tempestuous Latina dominatrixes who put their lovers in chastity, but perhaps that will depend on how this story is received.
