So jokes aside. I went through a really difficult time. I depended on charity a lot for a few months. White Christians had the best food. White seculars delivered consistently and most often. Arabs did it one time a week and we're often very late.

OK since we're being super honest I will tell you something that always made me have a sinking feeling, and since we're only a few km apart I will name names so you know where Im speaking about.

For the volunteering, I had to choose the foodbank. So naturally I chose: https://mwcanada.org/ on Mavis/Dundas

1st day there, so the Operations Mgr lecture a guy that he smelled of cigarettes, and that if he had money for cigs, he had money for food. He gave him the voucher and food anyway but had to power trip on him. Some Pakistani big shot who needed it for the ego. Never saw anything like it, raw power tripping. Made me seethe. So I left that day and went to get my volunteering hours here: https://thecompass.ca/

I told the Pakistani guy this, Christians were more generous and Allah loves generous people. I said it while people were lining up to get food and they all heard me, and the guy had no answer/too low IQ to even conceptualize how his attitude was scummy, he was just too used to being a big shot.
