It was years before I realized "Uncle Tito" was a friend of the family Uncle (shuuuuuuuuuuah ) and not the dead wifes actual brother. I thought the entire reason the kids were ambiguously dark while the dad was very obviously white was because they were half Hawaiians, but no. Their Uncle was just some asshole their dad grew up with and they were supposed to be pure white the entire time.

Damn, I guess I never really thought of it that way. Mr. Rocket was white but if the dead mom was Hawaiin (spelling doesn’t seem right) then wouldn’t it make sense their uncle was also dark? I don’t remember much about Rocket Power canon but I had a Twister skateboard when I was a kid and that was sick.
