And it does bother me that guys like Burr were fine with Ant’s racism and cruelty when he needed to plug his gigs and criticized people for not being able to take a joke. Ant made fun of Terry Clifford’s weight for five straight years and no one turned their backs on him, he made racist comments and made fun of callers’ dead children but they came in to plug their shit.

Getting dumped like a bag of patrick (before he really went off the rails) was probably the beginning of his descent even more so than the firing itself.

I think part of Ant’s spiral is the realization of how phony everyone is. His firing was mostly justified but shouldn’t have been enough to get him ostracized since the man was (allllllegedly) assaulted physically and was probably angry as hell and there is room for leeway there.

But some of these frauds turned on him immediately. After he could no longer help them. While being perfectly fine with terrible things he said for years.

No one is clean in this.

Anthony has a real issue with honesty and telling the truth. You can guarantee he was much louder and way more wasted than he claimed to be.

Anthony's racism was always very thinly-veiled with an element of comedy. After the firing one of the first things he did was take part in an interview in a white nationalist podcast. He doubled down on that shit so it's no wonder some cut him off there and then. Some stuck around for a while longer (Norton, Bob Kelly) but then the racist/violent tweets continued on and on to the point it's inexcusable to work in the media and still associate with someone like that. And then he beat Vinny Brand's daughter which further cut him adrift from the NY comedy scene.

Anthony is the furthest thing from a victim.

Lets not forget Ant wasn’t assaulted randomly or for quoting crime statistics. Some of you rewrite history with this. The only people that separated themselves from Anthony after his tweets was SiriusXM. Don’t forget. It wasn’t until the domestic abuse case, the rehab fake out, and the downward trajectory of his mental state and career until people cut him off.
