Yeah McQueen was pissed during that movie because he was telling the mechanics what tunings that car needed, or he would prefer they get a car on the Chargers power level. Love or hate Chrysler, they had it right with muscle cars. They had better engines and better aero design than Ford and GM during that era. They also dominated NASCAR pretty much from 1965-1974. In the later 70’s and in the 80’s GM really dominated the segment. Both the Firebird and Camaro pissed all over the Mustang.
