I doubt they'd have their lawyers both draft and distribute a all these rules and stipulations along with loan agreements just to give him a friendly nudge and whisper "don't worry this doesn't apply to you". This is the exact situation these terms exist for, to basically ensure that their coffers aren't bled dry for lunatics with daydreams of winning insane phyrric lolsuits. These aren't SWFA lawyers and they aren't keeping tabs, its on their members to pick a winner. Their own guidelines outline that if you use the legal defense fund, and it's a shitty case, and you lose, you have to put back what you took in and then some. They'd have no fund at all if every time one of these sensitive "creatives" got in a Twitter beef, they decided to withdraw another $100k. Rick had what he thought were real names, so he thought there was no way he could lose. That's the only source of his confidence.
