I did using Google and Yandex and no perfect hits but they brought up a bunch of AI dragon sthat were 95% the same. So she prints out/projects AI dragons and paints over them.

You can actually farm all this out to the third world. I was thinking about trying this out because I wanted some art for my place. You basically send them a pic and then someone in a mud hut somewhere makes a replica of it.

The 'trick' is that you have to find a place that doesn't care about copyright infringement, but those are easy to find overseas. Not so much in the U.S. (Learned this the hard way.)

When you copy photographs instead of working from real life or imagination there is a flat, dull, overly 2-dimensional appearance to the work which you can see in all of her paintings. Also it should be pointed out how bad it is when you're literally copying photographs but there's no detail, It's likely that because she's not an authentic artist she's not knowledgeable enough to take any risks and lacks the ability to paint the details as they appear in the photograph. Her knowledge is limited to copying and her process does not separate the foreground from the background or the subject from the colors and forms.

When I was in high school, one of my friends who was 18, he was interviewing at Disney.

He basically said the exact same thing.

That I was trying so hard to make things realistic, and it was just a dead end street. If you can make a convincing facsimile of a photograph, you can sell that for $40 at the local shopping mall. If you can "capture the essence" of the subject, that's basically the difference between "artists" and "hacks."
