19 mins but well worth it.
TL,DR:
- Brendan Schaub has been trying to sue a Youtuber for 2.5 years over $13k.
- Youtuber has filed motion to dismiss alleging that Brandon Schaub doesn't even know what he's suing him over and that his legal council is trying to scam him
- Youtuber's motion to dismiss includes multiple clips of Schaub on his podcast claiming he's suing the kid over defamation, when the actual case summary says it's about copyright infringement.
--> MTD also includes clips of Brendan claiming he hasn't been in touch with his legal council in a year and has no idea where the case stands.
- Judge tosses case and Brendan's legal team appeals. Their appeal includes a signed affidavit from Brendan Schaub claiming he has given his council permission to appeal and (explicitly) says he is aware the case is about copyright infringement.
- Youtuber files response to appeal that shows new podcast clip of Schaub saying he doesn't know about the appeal, and then speculates that he doesn't know what pro bono means and that his legal council and former business partner are scamming him.
- There are now only two possible outcomes - Schaub has committed perjury, or he was scammed. Actually, it might even be both.
This is actually way dumber than Fatrick's lolsuit.
