What are the odds that Patrick wins Thursday or that the case is thrown out, effectively killing the lawsuit?

From Judge Stein:

So the onus isn't on Quasi or his lawyers to prove their case, it's on piggy and the wine twink to produce a good argument for their side. I'm not a lawyer, but from reading Resto's latest submission I don't think he's done that. I think there are 3 possibilities:

1. Judge becomes convinced that Pat's side has satisfied Krinsky and allows Quasi's information to be released, which allows the WI lawsuit to go forward. I see this as a very unlikely scenario.
2. Judge rules with Quasi, but doesn't allow him to collect costs from the pig.
3. Judge rules with Quasi and does allow him to collect costs from the pig.

2 and 3 are far more likely to happen than 1. But I don't know enough about CA law to know the likelihood of Quasi being awarded costs.

Again, not a lawyer.

It's 5 in the morning here, and I could've sworn I smelled bacon cooking - figured there was more Pat talk.

I'm going to do my best John Mendelssohn of the Jesus Twins here: 'Time in the court room for genuine cases is of paramount value. While the humour of this case is uncompromisable, my main concern here is to ensure this doesn't go all the way to the top. It's as irrelevant as the rap, the crap, and The techno. Pat keeps saying "show me the money", but your honor, I think you should be telling him "show me the exit". Brinton Resto is not a visionary leader, if anything, he is superfluous.'

Fuck, I need my coffee.

If Pig loses he has to pay Quasi's fees. It's mandatory. Judge Stein may have been mistaken in his original analysis that sanctions against Pig are up for interpretation/at the discretion of the judge. Not so.

In his last brief, Ruben included a gentle reminder for the judge that the fee award is mandatory in Cali and I get the feeling he might be the type of fella that might kneecap a fat gringo holding out on him.
Wasn't aware of this. I personally hope that Quasi takes the pig to the fucking cleaners. If piggy tries to get out of it through the appeals process then there are a few choice quotes in the 2nd Apostlegate video that I hope ChadPena is made aware of.

If there's anyway that audio can be presented as evidence, I would die happy; Pat would never get far with that over him.

Problem is, wouldn't Apostle have to go public? I don't want him to risk his safety, and let's be real - his safety is at risk. That SchlepRock Tomlinstone should not own any guns.

It's a good question, someone who is familiar with the rules around what types of evidence are admissible in CA courts would be able to tell us.

If the clips can be used as is, then the pig is definitely toast. I remember he said something like "I'll never pay Quasi, that's what the appeals process is for." Judges fucking hate that type of thinking because of how backlogged the court system is, and it also shows that Pat believes that he actually has no real reason for appealing.
