Unpopular opinion: I liked "Lucky Louie" more than "Louie"

Aw little baby boy can't take criticism

lmao that thumbnail encapsulates what I mean about the Sesame Street shit

was the set looking like that intentional, or is that just result of a tiny budget

wiki says Louie was "inspired" by Norman Lear sitcoms, so probably intentional. It's kind of creepy, so I'm sure it didn't help the show's popularity but it makes me laugh

Another thing, Sepinwall was pretty accurate in his review. The show wasn't a good fit for HBO, which is why they cancelled it after one season.

I like how Jim thought he had a gotcha in The Office being stolen from England. When Sepinwall corrects him that it was "bought", Jim acts like he's using a weasel word because Jim is too dumb to understand licensing agreements, or even notice Gervais and Merchant are credited as creators and executive producers.

Reminder that Jim considers U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" a "rip-off" of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"

Do people really hate Lucky Louie? I thought it was a funny show. I hated Louie. Boring as fuck
I think a lot of it is just good ol contrarianism, but it's wasn't great. There was funny shit in it, but a lot of it comes from how much entertainment you get from someone screaming "FAGGOT!"
