Jeez, talk about taking their time following up on the case. Then again, this stuff takes awhile to solve. Son of Sam, Ted Bundy, etc was all solved decades later.

Jeez, talk about taking their time following up on the case. Then again, this stuff takes awhile to solve. Son of Sam, Ted Bundy, etc was all solved decades later.

Huh? Son of Sam was caught within a year and Bundy's murders were only prolonged because he scaped prison. He was caught fairly quickly for his initial murders because Bundy used his real name. They had an idea of who he was in a pretty short amount of time (especially considering it was the 70's). Even Gacy's killing spree was only around 6 years-

The ones that took decades are The Green River Killer, The Golden Gate Killer, and the Grim Sleeper (and obviously many more).
