This is been said many many times, but Pat is an Idiot. Assuming that person is roughly the same age as Pat. It is 100% possible their Grandparents died in the Holocaust. Pats only a few years older then me, and both of my Grandfathers faught in WW2.
Lets use some basic math and make some assumptions. Lets say Pat was born in 1980. Lets also assume his parents were 30 when they had him. They would have been born in 1950. Lets also assume that his Grandparents did the same. Then they would have been born around 1920. WW2 started in 1939, meaning a person who was born in 1980, their Grandparents would have been around 19 years old, prime age to fight in WW2

Pats two years older than me, and my grandfather on my mother’s side fought in WWII. He would be 97 years old if he was alive now. A lot of those guys didn’t have kids til a few years after WWII. And their kids had kids well into the 80’s and even early 90’s. He’s so detestable, is he now also an expert of genealogy.com and 23 and me results? My other grandparents were 9, 4 and 2 when Pearl Harbor happened. Had they been Jewish kids in areas the Nazis occupied by 1945 they very well could’ve been in concentration camps. He’s so stupid.

My mom is the youngest of 8. Her oldest sibling is 20 years older than her. Her dad was in WWII and he'd be over 100 years old now. She has neices and nephews that are older than her. I have a half jew buddy (I know) whose family was the same way and his grandfather somehow jewed his way out of getting holocausted and escaped Poland or some shit. Some people's parents are old as fuck. It's not unbelievable at all.
