I've purchased almost 300 audiobooks this year. I'm his target audience because for the most part I'll listen to anything. Even if I didn't know him I would skip his books on Audible. A 12 hour book for a credit isn't any use to me. Just clicking through he gets a review or two a year so that's also a big red flag.
I'll listen to fantasy and there are guys who have put out 12 25-hour audio books in the last two years. Are they great? No but it's obviously not that hard if they're creative and doing it (and not sucking off ActBlue in the hopes of getting $0.13 per tweet). Pat can't get "Tiny Tim Tap Dances on Elmo Mars Satan Borg Doros Blump (In space)" published.

This reminds me that on Roku I saw a commercial for a shitty looking sci-fi series called The Ark. I loffed because it reminded me of how badly Pat's writing career has gone.
