My wife and I have two kids and the doctors are pretty comprehensive about letting you know what the contingency plans are. At no point did they say "if the baby is in distress we'll just kill it for you, okay?" Induction or C-section for a struggling baby were the plays. Both times her water broke and labour didn't progress so they just threw the heartbeat monitor on, put her on an antibiotic drip so she didn't develop sepsis and induced her.

Obviously if the baby dies in the womb that's a different story but this baby wasn't dead. Shit is enraaaaaging
