I've said this before:

If they found in favor of Pat, then the WI case would've continue but in all likelihood, it would've approached 200k+. And again, as it was said today: All Quasi has is fake emails, fake names, and almost everyone is behind a VPN. Where could Pat go? What could he get? And he was somewhat self-aware of this during the Josiah calls, too. Plus, the money source feeing seems to REALLY want our names as well, hence why they're putting up with so much here. Either that money would pull - not just dry up - or enough personal turmoil at home and elsewhere would force Pat to back down and let this fruitless excursion end.

If they found against Pat (and it looks like they did and this is all over now), then WI ends and that's it. He's within the statute of limitations still, so they could refile again but this time: With the intent of finding the specific individuals who've committed libel/slander, enough to satisfy Krinsky, etc. That he might ACTUALLY have a shot at but he's already spent about $123,700 something of both his money and his sources money, combined. Even if he wanted to; he financially can't unless everyone works Pro Bono and the users they're after used their real names, accounts and IP, which, again, they haven't.

He bungled the case. He got too emotional and his pride and ego made him too myopic. If he took his time and found competent lawyers, he might've actually had a shot.
