There are absolutely treatments that have been explored that greatly reduced recidivism, however those do focus on people who have already offended. I was trying to leave legality out as well since you weren't arguing it but I wanted to be clear I wasn't in the more extreme camp of *they should just be killed".I'm not saying it's not disgusting,it obviously is. I've never brought up legality or any law. Claiming you can't change it is not a cop-out, it's a fact. If you could change it then conversion therapy would be a legitimate business. I'd say that dismissing the fact that you can't change it is a cop out because you don't want to actually think about the nuances of this whole thing.
Similarly to the other post I'm replying to, you don't want to actually think about this. Instead you just go to insults and ignore what I've said, outing yourself as a retard.
So I guess what we disagree on is the fundamental immorality of the thought or intention of doing something vs doing the thing itself.. That's where halfwit atheists like Hildy have issues. It's not nuanced, it's the exact opposite of nuance to say that because Hildy can't make that distinction nobody should.
