The other thread inspired me to make this one. I want to compile all the information we have about this audio into one place in hopes that we can one day find it.
What is it?
Audio of Anthonys ex girlfriend, Melinda, coming into studio to blow intern Spazz to save a lobster.
Why is it lost?
In the early days of the internet the clip was used on forums to mock Anthony for being a cuckold. Anthony removed any discussion of it and most of the tape traders at the time were friends of da show or wanted to be associated with it; they happily obliged upon being asked to censor the material.
Why care?
Most if not all of O&A’s shows have been archived. If they’re not it’s out of pure disinterest or no one recording it. However, this is a case where audio was recorded and people were interested in hearing it but it was purposefully scrubbed. Furthermore, no one knows the exact details of the tapes beyond the event described.
Whats been found?
So far the only audio evidence that this happened is a short clip from the day after the incident where they talk to Melinda on the phone. (It can be heard in the Beige Frequency documentary)
Where is it?
First of all, we know for a fact it was recorded. Not only because the tape traders had it way back when but its frequency of discussion means someone else outside the traders likely recorded it too. Combine this with other tape traders not dedicated to the show and it’s likely someone has this but simply doesn’t realize. Or care.
