Why does right heritage matter? Sean Connery is most famous for playing James Bond even though he’s Scottish. Al Pacino isn’t Cuban but is most well-known (next to godfather) for playing Tony Montana in Scarface. Someone’s heritage shouldn’t mean they automatically get a role over someone who isn’t, that’s just being racist.
