Daily reminder - Rick thought he was going to have 8,500 words written about him. That's quarter of a novel length.

Shut…your…FUCking…MOOOUTH!

I’ll never tire of hearing him snap like that

I've never heard such a desperate attempt to regain control from a human being as that phone call. It was 30 mins of him telling somebody else to shut up and that they're not allowed to speak until he says because it's the only way he could feel like he was still in control. The realization that he'd been tricked for months dawned on him and it truly broke his brain. It was beautiful.

What I don't understand is what did he expect this article to do for him? Maybe he would have gotten a few talk show interviews or podcast requests at absolute best but even then, he would have quickly sent back to obscurity.
I believe his ultimate endgame for this is somehow beating the trolls. I'm not sure how he thought that was going to happen, the lawsuit maybe. But once that was done, I think his plan was to write a book about it. I'm sure he had visions of this article being a springboard to his book and him doing some talk shows/radio/whatever. Whoever came up with the back story did a really good job and IMO that's what made him ignore his inner troll warnings. A right-wing ex-cop who shot a black guy and got off? An alt-right club owner? It was like a win-win for Rick, he could vanquish the trolls AND pander to the left since they were supposedly right-wing fascists or whatever.

So when all this came crashing down on him, I think it wasn't just that someone tricked him into an interview where he spilled his guts to a troll. It was also that he probably realized that all of the info from "the mole" might have been false as well. His lawsuit trial date was in less than 2 weeks and now he had nothing.

I think it goes back to when he hired Scary Carrie Goldberg to get his twitter reinstated. She has made a career on being a victim and told piggy (to get his money) that he could become a star as the man who BEAT the trolls. This has been his long goal and why he spends so much time on us. He stopped caring about his writing career (his recent books prove he’s not even trying) and put all his eggs in the gonna get famous basket over being the “Troll Slayer” or some dumb shit. Piggy has an insane ego and believes he’s amazing but it’s just a matter of time until the world discovers him.

In pigs mind he would become world famous for his “crusade” and be a huge news story. He saw himself doing multiple tv appearances on news related shows, major book deal for his story, speaking gigs, etc. for being a victim who fought back because there’s a lot of money in the victim business. He’s long believed this is his destiny and the Huff Post “article” was going to be his ticket to fame. Not so.

This also explains why he didn’t even care much that the suit wasn’t going anywhere, just as long as he got some attention (Huff Post) he could parlay it into fame.

Side note - does anyone know when the interview calls started? I’d love to know the dates since he’s been making large purchases lately, he bought new furniture, new phone, and a new fridge all before learning the whole thing was a hoax. Oopsie Doodles!

I think Edge or one of others in on it said the first call was Feb 10th. If the last one was 9/11, thats a LOT of milking for one article. I can't believe dorko didn't ask to see a draft or anything in all those months.

His brain already "fixed" it all, this has always been an elaborate plan to make the site owner pay 25k to a lawyer, for a wealthy Bon (bon eating) vivant like Rick spending a 100k to see his enemy spend 25k is well worth it. Hate to see what happens after he is ordered to pay that 25k himself lol.
