There were a lot of rivers that flooded, like every noreaster. I remember the first time in its history the Garden State Parkway closed and boats floated onto it from the Cheesequake Marina and that same storm the Path station flooded in Hoboken. At that time nobody engaged in the histrionics of needing to talk to friends because some streets flooded. This is nonsense, all of my friends have some pictures of street flooding, nobody is suggesting they were in peril.
