Imagine being a middle aged man and writing shit like that - especially over two sexually confused trannies and a highly overrated sci fi franchise.

I am certain that Petey Rick probably thought that it made him sound like a dangerous, rugged bad ass. But realistically? It makes you look petty, emotionally stunted and childish. Nice adult emotional range, stupid.

I thank God that Petey Rick fled like a coward from the prospect of raising Annabelle. This right here demonstrates how much he is mired in arrested development, both mentally and emotionally, and should be nowhere near children.

If you break it down, the point he's trying to make is unbelievably forced as always.

The fact that the red pill metaphor was adopted by MGTOW somehow means they stole the treasured memories the Wachowski's created when making that movie?? Rick's reasoning - "And I remember the women who wrote and directed that did so because they were trying to give life and expression to their journey coming out as trans."

That's just crazy on so many levels.

1. The Wachowski were men when they made that movie (they still are).

2. The Matrix has nothing to do with any kind of expression of coming out as trans or any other such nonsense

3. What has MGTOW got to do with trans women anyway? Let me guess - they're all nazis because a lot of them are republicans?

He just creates scenarios in his head to get angry about because he has nothing but free time.

Get a job already, ya fucking bum.

When the first one went tranny, I actually thought it was cool. I thought it was because they were pushing the cyberpunk concepts of body hacking and gender switching as far as they could go IRL. Then the other one did, and they started bleating about trans rights and shit, and I realized it wasn’t cool, but rather extremely gay.

also the character switch in the first matrix was supposed to gender flip in the matrix vs out of it. But I don’t think it had anything to do with trannies as they are now, but just the cyberpunk element.

I'll be generous in saying that The Matrix borrowed from a number of other sources: Neuromancer, Ghost in the Shell, and Dark City to say the least. Were all those works about dick chopping too?

Yes, child. They were. I decide how words, reality, movies, history and the law work.

I'm sorry you're stupid. I can't help you.

The world and premise were solid. I liked how it ended. The love and “humanity” sucked
Was hyped for the 2nd Matrix. First fight scene wasn't great, and the SFX work on her fall from the skyscraper was too cute. Look! Bullet time! Again!!! But I was happy going along for the ride.

Then they went to Zion and that fucking rave... I regretted not seeing Daddy Day Care instead.

It also borrowed heavily from Grant Morrison's, The Invisibles.

Morrison stated in an interview,

"It's really simple. The truth of that one is that design staff on The Matrix were given Invisibles collections and told to make the movie look like my books. This is a reported fact. The Wachowskis are comic book creators and fans and were fans of my work, so it's hardly surprising. I was even contacted before the first Matrix movie was released and asked if I would contribute a story to the website.

It's not some baffling 'coincidence' that so much of The Matrix is plot by plot, detail by detail, image by image, lifted from Invisibles so there shouldn't be much controversy. The Wachowskis nicked The Invisibles and everyone in the know is well aware of this fact but of course they're unlikely to come out and say it."

You'd think a stealthygeek like Rick would already know these things. Odd.

Bit too stealthy for Mainstream Rick.

The whole Hero's Journey, too - Neo's a regular guy, encounters Princess Leia, then Hagrid tells him he's The One...

Morrison says a bunch of shit, particularly when he's drunk or on acid.

I'd seen The Matrix maybe five-six times before reading The Invisibles, and I don't remember being struck by the similarities.

Fatrick says:

No, they didn't. Keanu Reeves has gone on record as saying he was unaware of any trannie subtext in the thing when he was making it; and one of the troons has stated that the whole discussion is "excellent reminder that art is never static", which is bullshit, because my 90s-era DVD of the thing hasn't changed.
